Constitution of Davonia
Preamble
We the people of the Empire of Davonia have declared independence as a free nation in order to protect the freedoms and rights of every human being and to form a more perfect union establish this constitution of the Republic of Davonia.
Article I: Executive Branch
Section 1: The executive branch shall consist of the emperor, cabinet and other executive officials and departments.
Section 2: The president shall be chosen by an indirect way of voting of the people through voted representatives.
Section 3: The vice president shall be chosen by the president.
Section 4: The president will be allowed to create executive orders but in order to be in affect the cabinet has to vote.
Section 5: If the president is unfit or dies then the vice president becomes acting president serving the rest of the term from the previous president.
Section 6: The president will serve a four-year term for a maximum of two terms, the vice president leaves the office as the president leaves office including the cabinet.
Article II: Judicial Branch
Section 1: The judicial branch shall consist of nine high court justices, one supreme justice and eight associate justices.
Section 2: All trials will be held in the high court.
Section 3: The Davonian empire high court only serves civil cases but will serve a case in which a criminal defendant was found guilty under a crime that he or she was unjustly found guilty.
